Submission Guidelines

1. Format:

Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word or compatible software and must be double-spaced with one-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides. The font size must be 12-point Times New Roman.

2. Length:

When preparing a manuscript for submission to a journal, it's important to take into account the length requirements established by the publication. For example, if you're submitting your work to a journal that specifies a maximum page count of 20, it's essential to adhere to this guideline strictly in order to avoid rejection.

To ensure that your manuscript complies with the length requirements, consider removing any sections that may not be essential to your argument or finding ways to condense your language without sacrificing clarity. Additionally, consider using clear and concise language to convey your ideas effectively within the allotted space.

By keeping these tips in mind and paying close attention to the length requirements set forth by the journal, you'll give your manuscript the best possible chance of being accepted for publication.

3. Title:

preparing your manuscript for submission to IUSRJ, it's important to choose a title that accurately reflects the content of your research. Your title should be brief and straightforward, avoiding overly technical language. A well-crafted title can pique readers' interest and encourage them to delve deeper into your work.

4. Abstract:

The abstract is a brief summary of your research, typically no more than 250-500 words. This section should provide an overview of the purpose of the study, methods used, results obtained, and conclusions drawn. The abstract is often the first thing that readers will see, so it needs to be clear and compelling.

5. Introduction:

The introduction should provide background information on the subject of your research and clearly state the research question or hypothesis being investigated. It should also summarize previous research on the topic and explain why your study is significant.

6. Methods:

The methods section should provide a detailed description of the procedures used to conduct the research. This section should cover study design, participant characteristics, data collection techniques, and data analysis methods. It is important to provide enough detail so that other researchers could replicate your study.

7. Results:

In the results section, you should present the findings of your study in a clear and concise manner. This section should include data presented in tables or figures where appropriate. The results should be organized logically and accompanied by appropriate statistics.

8. Discussion:

The discussion section is where you interpret your results and draw conclusions based on your findings. This section should also address any limitations of the study and suggest directions for future research. It is important to focus on the implications of your research and the potential impact it may have.

9. References:

All sources cited in the manuscript should be listed in the references section, following the journal's preferred citation style. This section should include only sources that were actually cited in the manuscript. Be sure to follow the citation style guidelines provided by the journal.

• Reference list for a book :

Smith, J. (2019). The effects of environmental change. Publisher.

• Reference list for a journal article:

Johnson, R., Lee, K., & Clark, M. (2020). The impact of exercise on mental health. Journal of Health Psychology, 25(3), 257-269.

• Citations for multiple authors:

When citing a work by two authors, use "&" between the names in the in-text citation and "and" in the reference list. For works with three or more authors, use "et al." in both the in-text citation and the reference list after the first author's name.

• Use of italics:

Italicize the titles of books, periodicals, and reports.

• Use of DOI:

Provide a DOI (digital object identifier) when citing online sources if one is available. If a DOI is not available, include the URL of the source instead.

10. Ethics: Any ethical issues related to the research should be clearly stated in the manuscript, along with any steps taken to ensure compliance with ethical standards. Examples of ethical issues might include consent procedures, use of animals in research, or conflicts of interest. Addressing these issues demonstrates a commitment to responsible research practices.
